“Bagni Romani” was a SPA complex located in the center of the city. Specifically required by the Clients to create a special SPA that would bring the style back to the old Roman Empire Thermal baths, the overall complex was distributed into a total of 5 levels plus basement.
Our studio decided to recreate the atmosphere of a ancient roman bath by using a lot of hand-made “fresco” decorations on the walls, showing the rural atmosphere of a roman “thermae”. Also, the use of ancient mosaics and at the same time roman travertine, the most popular marble used during these period of history by romans, helped to re-create the sense of entering a real authentic roman bath.
